Wynn Palace, Macau

Client: Wynn Design & Development Asia

Square footage: 2,221,600 sq. ft

Our portfolio of hospitality projects was further enriched by delivering this project for the world-class resort in Macau, Wynn Palace. The venue accommodates 2,000 rooms, casinos, the signature SkyCabs, meeting facilities, spa and salon, luxury retail stores and international restaurants. The hotel has a gross floor area of approximately 2,221,600 sq. ft and took five years to be constructed, making it one of the biggest projects for Sygna (APAC) in the region.

We were appointed as a testing and commissioning (T&C) consultant in the project, responsible for overseeing the entire T&C processes and managing the handover of T&C document on behalf of the customer.

The scope of works included the review of the MEP scheme from schematic to detailed design, collation of the customer’s T&C requirements, review of the subsequent contractor’s submissions, supervision and reporting on the commissioning processes management.

We also helped with setting up HVAC systems and controls and completing the set-up of the kitchens, ensuring to maintain the correct supply and exhaust ratio with negative pressure indoors. Effective measures were adopted to make certain the smell from the kitchen was not spread to the dining areas and affected guests’ dining experience.
