Sygna & Apleona Announce Strategic Partnership

Sygna is pleased to announce a significant milestone in its growth journey, with Apleona Group acquiring a majority stake in Sygna Holdings Limited and entering into a strategic partnership that will strengthen both organisations' capabilities across the critical infrastructure and data centre sectors.

Headquartered near Frankfurt, Apleona is a leading European provider of integrated facility management services. The partnership brings together Apleona’s extensive international platform and client base with Sygna’s specialist expertise in commissioning, technical project management, and critical infrastructure delivery.

Importantly, Sygna’s leadership team will retain a significant shareholding and will continue to lead the business, ensuring continuity for clients, partners, and employees as the company enters its next phase of growth.

Founded in the UK and now operating across Europe, Sygna has established itself as one of the region’s leading commissioning practices, supporting projects throughout the entire building lifecycle. With a team of 90 highly skilled specialists, the company delivers services spanning project inception, commissioning, technical project management, and post-occupancy evaluation across data centres, commercial offices, substations, gigafactories, pharmaceutical facilities, and other mission-critical environments.

The strategic partnership reflects the increasing demand for specialist commissioning expertise within rapidly expanding sectors such as data centres and critical infrastructure. Sygna’s technical capabilities will enhance Apleona’s service offering by providing a vital link between installation and long-term facility management, while Apleona’s established European presence will help accelerate Sygna’s international growth ambitions.

Dr Jochen Keysberg, CEO of Apleona, said:

“I look forward to implementing our strategic partnership, which will benefit both companies. Sygna adds an attractive technical service layer to Apleona’s service portfolio that closes the gap between installation and facility management. Its extensive technical expertise will enable Apleona to expand its FM business in the data centre market in future. Sygna will be supported by Apleona in the further international roll-out, with the help of Apleona's strong European platform and international client base.”

Remi Portes, Managing Director of Sygna, added:

“This partnership reflects the scale our clients have been asking of us. Apleona gives us the platform to continue our growth while strengthening our reach. We look forward to the new proposition this strategic partnership will offer Sygna, Apleona, and our clients, while creating new opportunities for our people.”

The partnership marks an exciting new chapter for both businesses, creating opportunities to deliver greater value for clients while supporting continued innovation, technical excellence, and growth across international markets.

As demand for data centres, energy infrastructure, and mission-critical facilities continues to rise, Sygna and Apleona are well-positioned to support clients with an expanded range of expertise and services across the full lifecycle of their projects.
